Calculation Of Indian Time

The local time of the meridian is used for calculating the Indian standard  time, Which is followed by all the places within the country. It is usually 5.1/2  hours ahead of Greenwich mean timee of the world. The 0 meridian passes through Greenwich in England. Each degree off the merieian account for 4 minutes of time and that difference between Greenwich and Indian Standard time is 82.1/2 degrees * 4= 330 minutes which is 5. 1/2 hours.
