Types of Paragraph Alignment

There are four types of alignments

1) Left alignment

2) Right alignment

3) Justification

4) Centering

Universal Gates

NAND and NOR gates are called the universal gates.

MultiSim

MultiSim is a electronic workbench which is used for design and analysis of circuits.

Flip Flop

A flip flop is a circuit which is capable of remembering the value which is given as input.

Primary and Secondary Memory

Main Memory ( Primary Memory ):

The main memory of computer stores thee program and data that are currently being used.

Secondary Memory:

Secondary memory is the memory tat supplements the main memory. This is a Non-Volatile memory.

Hardware Components

The hardware components include input devices, processor, Storage devices and output devices.

Computer

Computers are often compared to Human beings because both of them have the ability to accept data, store, work with it, retrieve and provide information.

Super & Mainframe & Mini & Micro Computer

Super Computer:

Super computers process billions of instructions per second.

Mainframe Computer:

Mainframes are capable of processing data at very high speed hundreds o million instructions per second.

Mini Computer:

Mini computers were developed with the objective bringing out low cost computes.

Micro Computer:

The invention of microprocessor gave birth to the micro computers. It is further classified into workstation, personal computers, laptop computers etc.

Analog & Digital & Hybrid Computer

Analog Computer:

Analog Computer is a computing device that works of continuous rage of values.

Digital Computer:

Digital computer operates on digital data such as numbers.

Hybrid Computer:

Hybrid computing system is a combination o desirable features of analog and digital computers

Hardware And Softeare

A computer system has tow major components, hardware and software.

Hardware:

The processing function is performed by the hardware.

Software:

Software consists of programs deigned to solve a user problem.

Algorithm

Algorithm is defined as a step by step procedure of formula for solving a problem.

Information and Data

* Information is a collection of facts from which conclusions may be drawn.

* Data is a collection of facts from which information may be derived. It may be a primary or secondary information.

Generation of Computer

1) The First generation of computers used Vacuum tubes for circuitry and Magnetic drums for memory.

2) Second generation of computes witnessed the vacuum tubes bring replaced by Transistors.

3) Third generation computer used the Integrated  circuits.

4) Microprocessor brought forth the fourth generation of computers, as thousands o integrated circuits were built onto s single silicon chip.

Abacus

* Abacus is the first known calculator was developed by Blaise Pascal.

* The Rotating Wheel calculator was developed by Blaise Pascal, which is a predecessor to today's electronic calculator.
